Anyone who suffers from stress and anxiety knows how debilitating it can be. Managing anxiety can be a constant silent challenger. It can create feelings of limited control, low self esteem, frustration, panic, fear and defeat. Whether you’re feeling stressed or anxious, this simple, easeful 2 hour workshop with Emma Ceolin will take you on a journey to soften back into yourself again.
The first 30 minutes of this workshop you'll explore how anxiety presents in your life, partake in let-go exercises and coping practices that interrupt anxious thought patterns, look into science, psychology and yoga philosophy defining anxiety (here you can kick back, get comfy during this presentation via projector and screen). The next 90 minutes you'll explore yoga as a tool to calm the nervous system, rewire the stress response and alleviate anxiety. Here we'll uncover parts of the body where we tend to hold stress, anxiousness, tension, fear and other negative emotion.
Expect asana (poses), pranayama (breathing), meditation, aromatherapy oils, raw vegan treats and connecting with other beautiful humans. You’ll also be gifted with a Yoga for Anxiety eBook and recommendations for other great resources like apps, podcasts and books to practice in your own time.Leave this stress-to-bliss transformation workshop feeling grounded and balanced with the tools you need to give the very best version of yourself to the world.
WHAT TO BRING
+ Yoga mat
+ Water bottle
+ Pen and paper. Or better yet, using your phone/tablet to take notes/photos/videos is encouraged. Although paper is recyclable, it uses 4 x as many fossil fuels to create in comparison to plastic!
+ Open mind and heart

WHO THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR
This workshop is for everyone, of all backgrounds, experiences, size and age. All yoga postures will be practiced in a supportive, safe environment and suitable for absolute beginners. Please keep in mind this class is not individually tailored for special needs, pregnancies, pre-existing physical injuries, pain or concerns, and if present you should consult with your physician before commencing.
ABOUT THE TEACHER
Emma Ceolin is an internationally accredited yoga teacher (500RYT, 200ERYT, RPYT, RCYT, YACEP) based in Brisbane, Australia with over 1000 hours experience. Emma grew up with Anxiety and Depression and found love through yoga. She has now taught sold out workshops, retreats and yoga teacher trainings across the globe. Drawing from her yoga training, university studies and personal experience, it's now her mission to share yoga as a path to health, healing and happiness.
